Jonathan Penton will read 20 short poems from his book, “A Limited Number of Miracles: a walk through the New Orleans Sculpture Garden” (Lavender Ink, 2025) in front of the sculptures that inspired them.
We will meet at the front entrance of the garden and proceed to the back, to the sculpture “Sunyatta.” We will meet at 2pm SHARP. This event is NOT AUTHORIZED by NOMA or the Sculpture Garden, so we don’t need to be hanging out around the entrance.
